McClure, Coombs marry Sept. 6 at Calvary UM

Kash and Yvonne McClure of La Plata announce the marriage of their daughter, Victoria Lynn McClure, to Thomas Christopher Coombs, son of Everett and Betty Ann Coombs of Pomfret.

The wedding ceremony took place Sept. 6, 2008, at Calvary United Methodist Church in Waldorf.

The wedding was officiated by the Rev. Robert D. Carter.

Renee Brown of La Plata, friend of the bride, was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Dana Bean of Severna Park, Rebecca Maddox of Issue, friends of the bride, and Darla McClure of Frederick, sister-in-law of the bride.

William Burgess of La Plata was best man. Groomsmen were David Bullard of La Plata and Jeffrey Mumford of Purcellville, Va., friends of the groom, and Kash McClure II of Frederick, brother of the bride.

The flower girls were Reese McClure and Caitlyn Seibert, nieces of the bride and groom. Tré McClure, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

The wedding ceremony included songs by Michelle Kjelland, accompanied by James Kjelland, and Scripture readings by Brittany Rigio, niece of the groom.

The church organist was Ramona Black.

A dinner reception was held at the J.T. Daugherty Center in Lexington Park. Flowers were provided by Floral Designs by Pam, photography services by Talley Studios, transportation by Diamond Limousines and music by DJ Roger "Rockin Roger" Simmons.

The couple honeymooned in Myrtle Beach, S.C. They now reside in La Plata.
